Data is the new oil. Here's how to tap it.

This very second your business is generating data. A lot of data. Your website and every software application you use is creating data. That data is gold. Black gold, if you will. But it's just laying around not doing anything, like an unemployed hipster. To get value out of that data you need to see it, understand it and put it to work. Good in theory, but not always so easy.

Tend makes it easy to gather and search through your website data. You can push outside data to or from Tend through the API. But if you don't know how to code, you need a developer to do it.

Zapier Integration

With Tend's Zapier integration you can put that data to work without a developer. Zapier lets you set up your own codeless integrations called “Zaps”. Zaps automatically send your data between Tend and over 1,000 other tools. If you can click on buttons and fill out forms, you can create Zaps.

Here are a few practical examples of things you can do:

See if your marketing efforts are driving results

• Send purchase data to Tend to see what marketing tactics lead to revenue.
• Send CRM data to Tend to see what marketing tactics lead to phone calls.
• Send demographic data to Tend to see if high-income customers came from a campaign.

Alerts

• Send an email to your sales team when an important contact is back on your website.
• Get a Slack notification if an ad isn't performing well.
• Get an email notification when you get a new link to your website.

Automation

• Send people who abandon a purchase or contact form a follow-up email.
• Mail a postcard when leads visit a certain page on your site.
• Update your CRM based on a lead's website behavior.
• Push CEOs to an ad retargeting list.

Zapier Templates

Zapier templates are pre-defined workflows that are set up and ready to go. Once you have a Zapier account, you can set them live with a few clicks. Here are few templates:
